The inaugural ceremony and lecture series of the 鶹Ƶý Bio – Cultural Anthropology Field School, Mount Royal University of Canada was an international collaboration done in partnership with the Department of Sociology and Anthropology of the 鶹Ƶý.
This forum opened its doors for the presentation of papers on certain very interesting subjects. Some of which were the “Socio-cultural aspects of indigenous people: Vedda Community in 鶹Ƶý”, “A Marriage Ritual of 鶹Ƶý: Poruwa Ceremony and the Colonial Era and Culture change in 鶹Ƶý.
This insightful session was held on 24th May 2016 at the Faculty of Graduate Studies, USJP graced by the presence of the Vice Chancellor of the University as the Chief Guest.
